Laura Dreyfus-Barney (1879-1974)


She was a prominent American Baha’i who accepted the Faith in Paris around 1900. She made a number of extended visits to ‘Akka, asking questions of ‘Abdu'l-Baha, the answers to which she later compiled as ‘Some Answered Questions’. She was twice decorated by the French government for her services to humanity.
