‘Asiyih Khanum is the wife of Baha’u’llah and mother of 'Abdu'l-Baha, Bahiyyih-Khaum, and
Mirza Mihdi. She married Baha’u’llah in 1835, accompanied Him throughout all of
His exiles, and died in 1886. Baha’u’llah addressed her as Navvab (an honorific
implying "Grace or "Highness") and designated her as the
"Most Exalted Leaf" and His "perpetual consort in all the
worlds of God.
